Artist StatementMy interest in photography began when my father
bought home the Canon A-1 with a FD 55mm/1.2 lens. It has always
fascinated me how the different aspects of light (both moving and
frozen) can be captured by the camera. Later in high school, that A-1
served me well during my 2 years as photography editor for the
yearbook. Since college, I started photographing various weddings,
gatherings and events. My photography style is mostly
photo-journalistic. I prefer to capture events as it happens, as
unobtrusively as possible.
