of the 2011 PSA Website Contest

Roxanne
Overton from Boise, ID, ran a very successful Website Contest this year. There were 40 entries in the Small Club Section
and 41 in the Large Club Section. Roxanne managed all the entries, questions,
and finding judges in a very competent and timely way. She states that her judges “were terrific and
did a great job!” A big thank you goes out to Roxanne and these judges:

also gives just due to her husband, Wally, who did all of the forms and online
computing for our judges. In addition he
compiled everything to get us the final results. She will send out “report cards” to all the
entrants in the fall after the PSA Conference.
The
judges used the criteria that can be found on the PSA website. They suggested that the seven different groupings
of criteria be weighted so that the scores would better reflect what is
important for a website to be considered “good.” After getting approval for this, they agreed
on what the weightings should be. Below

Small Clubs (74 or fewer members)
As you can see from this list of winners we had entrants from all over the
United States and the world. We thank all of those who entered their website into this contest. Next year we hope to see even more entries so
encourage your club, chapter, or council to enter. It is easy to do and getting feedback about
your site can help you make it even better. |
